– "The Rise of Saquon Barkley: Week 9's No. 1 Fantasy Football Superstar"

By Dahlia

Saquon Barkley had 199 yards and two touchdowns and is this week's top fantasy back. His backward hurdle over a defender after the grab stood out. Barkley lost a fumble returned for a touchdown, but he has 497 yards in three weeks.

With A.J. Brown sitting with a knee injury, the back went out Sunday and racked up a season-high 40 receiving yards. He's now the number one fantasy player.

This season, Jalen Hurts has hit a career-high 8.3 YPA and ranked fifth for the third week running.

DEVONTA Smith had nothing to say until two long catches in the fourth quarter after Brown left, including a great one-handed score. Smith's fantasy value would rise if Brown misses.

With Brian Thomas Jr. hurt and limited arms, Trevor Lawrence sputtered. Lawrence recovered his fantasy day with two quick rushing scores and almost carried Jacksonville to a stunning comeback in the final two quarters before throwing an awful first-down interception from the 13-yard line with 1:42 left.

Travis Etienne Jr. started but received only three carries, and his lost fumble forced Lawrence into his first pick. Jacksonville lost 22-0 on Sunday relying too much on the game script of Tank Bigsby.

He has five targets in eight games because of injuries. Evan Engram didn't catch until about the middle of the third quarter and was kept under wraps in a tough contest.

He did lead the team with 10 targets, was tackled at the one-yard line in the third quarter, and is a fantasy must-start without Christian Kirk.
