Story: 7 The story is not bad. X and stop his evil plot of world domination! Mega Man games are known to be difficult and I was expecting this one to be. Knight Man's Yamato Man's, Tomahawk mans and the first Fortress stage really have good tunes. The Buster despite still being a big blast does not have the sound that gives the impression it is powerful. Blizzard Man's stage is nicely done especially with the moving submarine. Capcom did very well here on hiding the items Difficulty: 7 Mega Man 6 does have some tricky areas but it takes a while for the game to get tricky.
Suddenly Mister X takes control tells Mega Man that he has been supplying Dr. So getting through the robot masters was not as difficult as in Mega Man 2, 3, 4 and 5. There is also a hidden item secret that can be obtained but it is well hidden. I guess I like the other titles better. The buster sound in Mega Man 6 has been toned down a lot.
Mega Man 6 was the last title for the regular Nintendo Entertainment System and one of the last games for that system. Mega Man must battle through 16 levels to defeat this ferocious new foe. The game does have a lot of depth. Also I expected a much better sound with the Rush power adapter it just seems fain for a powerful fist. Capcom should have made Mister X look different than Wily. However, it seems like this game was rushed and quickly put together in some spots. On the eve of the Grand Championship, the mysterious Mr.
It seems like some parts of the game the controls were rushed and that is why they are sluggish. The fortress levels are tricky and that is what keeps me from giving this a lower difficulty rating. Mega Man 6 Review by: - 8. Sounds like a good plot and do not get me wrong it did have some potential. Depth:8 Depth is were Mega Man 6 shines. Some of the tunes stand out.
Mega Man 5 had a cool buster sound that let the player know it was going to do some damage. The graphics were okay but not on par with Mega Man 5's or even 3's. The world's premier designers and their finest robotic warriors traveled to do battle in the First Annual Robot Tournament. I still have fun playing it though. The first fortress stage is nice with the stars and moon in the background.
In Plant Man's stage it seems like the game wants to slow down. I think Mega Man 6 is a good game but just not as good as the past three Mega Man games. X announced that the entire tournament was just a scheme to get his hands on the world's most powerful robots! The music is okay but not as good as the past thee Mega Man games. However it sometimes seems like the graphics lag in some parts of the game. Probably because the game was rushed. So it seems like they were using the same material. However it seems like it took a step back from its precursors such as Mega Man 3,4 and 5.
The graphics at times seem to lag and be sluggish. Graphics: 8 The graphics are decent. So why it is a good game it does not have the replay value that its precursors had. In some stages it also looks like how the graphics were not finished. So the Depth of Mega Man 6 is one of its strengths.
So the Story was a good idea and had potential but they should have not gave Mister X's true identity away. But it is usually after I have played 3, 4 and 5 first. Wily and manipulating him and dares Mega Man to come and stop him for world power. Addictiveness: 7 Okay I have played this game several times. Graphics 8 Sound 7 Addictive 7 Depth 8 Story 7 Difficulty 7 Defeat Mr. Sound: 7 Well Mega Man 5 had rocking tunes so I was hoping 6 would too. .
