While the story-based gameplay is a dud, the free-roaming modes and mini-games are pretty entertaining. The fancy introduction tails off and the game engine takes over. Man, I don't know what the deal is with this game, but controlling Tanner was just ridiculously frustrating.
There are a variety of vehicles to drive. Making it to the surface, you observe a somewhat amusing scene; the police who were on your tail are now also driving straight into the sea, as if attracted by a giant magnet in your pocket.
